Bridge at the Village is a member governed, open, Zero Tolerance club. We have operated as a Scotia Village Residents Association club since our inception in January 2011. Bridge at the Village is the neighborhood ACBL sanctioned duplicate club for players who live along or between US-74 or SC-9 from Wadesboro, NC and Chesterfield, SC eastward to I-95. All players and kibitzers are welcome. We offer partnership services to players without a partner. Calling in advance helps.
We participate in District 7 STaC games, Inter-Club Championship Games, Club Appreciation Club Championship games, and other special games. Typically, we offer three annual events with gold point awards. We use pre-dealt hands with hand records every week. Typically, there is also a lesson hand handout. Bridge at the Village participates in The Common Game Nite with scores usually matchpointed across 40 or more tables at about a dozen clubs.
